For Sam & Davy - THE POPUP in River Oaks, we didn't want just any candles. We wanted unique scents that, like everything we love, embodied Texas. And so we looked to our favorite local candlemakers, The Periapt, to come up with some custom fragrances that conjured the essence Texas, for whether you're home or far away.
With inspiration from long Texas car rides and the music of our homegrown Texas artists, and of course the people that make up this great state, The Periapt came up with three perfect candles, exclusively for Sam & Davy.
Warm & Friendly, a sweet scent of pecans and pralines, was created as an ode to the people of Texas, welcoming and beckoning and making you hunger for home and some pecan pie.
Take Me to the River is a inspired by the warmer months of the year, when Texas' rivers come a-callin' with the fresh, dewy scents of bluebonnets and peaches.
Lastly, our best seller, The Stars at Night, is an homage to the incomparably magnificent skies of Texas, and the fragrances of tobacco and cedarwood brought on by the Texas desert nights.
All candles are hand poured in Austin, Texas, with 100% soy wax, biodegradable glitter, and lots of Texas love.
